Peter is a founding member of Warren Kachur Osadetz LLP. Peter’s general litigation practice encompasses a wide range of areas including commercial, energy, professional liability, employment, family and insurance. He represents public and private sector interests in regulatory matters and privacy matters under the Personal Information Protection Act and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. His clients include individuals, corporations operating in a variety of sectors, educational institutions, health service providers and members of regulated health professions. A sizeable portion of Peter's practice is focused on estate litigation. He has significant experience working with executors, beneficiaries and claimants in estate-related disputes. Peter also has significant experience advising on estate-planning and administration.
Peter has appeared before the Court of Queen’s Bench, the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Appeal as well as various administrative boards and tribunals. He has assisted with matters before the Federal Court of Appeal, the Canada Transportation Agency and the National Energy Board of Canada.
Outside of the office Peter enjoys exploring the mountains with his family and friends, including his two four-legged companions Pepper and Murphy.
