Jonathan is a founding partner of Warren Kachur Osadetz LLP. He runs an extensive commercial banking, real estate development, and commercial and residential real estate practice. Jonathan routinely acts on behalf of chartered banks and private lenders with regards to commercial financing transactions as well as for real estate developers in relation to multi-family, residential, and commercial development projects. Jonathan also has a significant corporate and commercial practice in which he advises clients on corporate reorganizations, amalgamations, acquisitions, divestitures, commercial leasing, and an array of contractual matters, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, and partnerships.
As well, he advises individuals on estate planning and estate administration matters in his Wills and Estates practice. In 2002, Jonathan completed the CICA in-depth goods and services tax course and has broadened his practice with regards to tax planning and corporate organizations.
In addition to his solicitor’s practice, Jonathan has appeared before the Court of Appeal of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Federal Court Trial Division.
Jonathan was born and raised in Calgary and is married with two children. He is an avid San Francisco 49ers fan, loves traveling, and spending time with family.
