Martin joined Warren Kachur Osadetz LLP having previously worked at two previous boutique litigation firms. Martin obtained his law degree at the University of Exeter, England and was called to the bar in 2020. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Martin worked for nearly a decade as a Petroleum Engineer internationally and in Canada. Martin maintains a general litigation practice but can also advise and represent clients in Charter and Constitutional matters or criminal proceedings. Martin also advises corporate and non-for-profit organizations on their various legal needs, and is experienced with estates and their administration.

Martin has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada, the Court of King’s Bench, the Alberta Court of Justice, and the Provincial Court of British Columbia. Martin has advised various First Nation clients and negotiated on their behalf with numerous governmental departments. 

Martin volunteers his time with Calgary Legal Guidance, the rugby community, and various other organizations. Martin can be found on the rugby pitch, in the mountains, telling stories of his days doing avalanche control at Fortress Mountain or enjoying a glass of wine with his family.
